If you have not already heard, we want to make you aware of a troubling social media post circulating nationwide that threatened an act of violence on December 17 "for every school in the USA, even elementary."
We have reached out to state agencies to see what kind of information was available.
The post appears to be part of a national TikTok trend and did not originate here. Our School District has not received any threats.
Although this is not believed to be a credible threat, we do want to make you aware in case you have not already heard. We have contacted law enforcement and do plan to have police presence available tomorrow.
