Grays Harbor College is hosting a virtual financial aid night for current and prospective college students on November 24th from 4:00-7:00 pm. This event is open to everyone regardless of which college(s) you plan to attend. In order to register go to https://bit.ly/ghcfinaidhelp. There will be people available to help both English and Spanish speaking families. Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a critical step in accessing federal, state, and institutional aid. Mr. Laine just sent an important email to seniors and parents/guardians.
Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm there will be Technology Office hours available via zoom. If you need the link please email helpdesk@naselleschools.org or have your student check Google Classroom as many teachers have the link listed there.
Linked here is a list of items that will be available for surplus this fall. The surplus sale will take place on Wednesday, December 2nd from 12 noon to 3 pm. Due to safety protocols the sale will be by appointment only and will be as touchless as possible.
We will have approximately 75 chromebook (CTL NL61) for sale $50 each and approximately 20 to 25 11" MacBook Air for sale $225 each. Please bring a check made out to Naselle Schools or exact change.

There will be a College and Financial Aid Information Night for seniors and parents on Wednesday, October 21st at 6:00 pm. An email with information and a Zoom link has been sent to to parent email addresses we have on file and to all seniors school email addresses.
International ShakeOut Day is October 15th. 1.5 Million Washingtonians took part in last years ShakeOut. Naselle-Grays River Valley Schools Participated October 13th for our A day students and then again on the 15th for our B Day students. Our remote students can take part in your home.

The Naselle-Grays River Valley School District is seeking a board member for Area 1. Area 1 boundary and description can be found at the following link. Interested persons may contact the District Office at 360.484.7121 Ext. 2 for an application. Applicants must live in Area 1. Position open until filled.
In cooperation with Teach with TVW, students at the Naselle-Grays River Valley School District are learning about the legislative process by speaking with lobbyist and following the progress of several bills this Spring. Naselle is one of 10 schools to take part in the Capital Classroom where the students, teacher and lobbyist volunteers select and review legislation that they will support, oppose or amend.
