Parents of Students in Grades 6-12:

Our school district-along with the majority of other school districts around the state-will be participating in the 2018 Washington Healthy Youth Survey during the week of  October 15^th-19^th_• The Healthy Youth survey includes questions about physical activity and diet, mental health, unintentional and intentional injury, substance use, risk and protective factors, and access to school-based services.

Survey results are used by schools, communities, and state agencies to plan programs aimed to support youth, reduce risk factors, and promote healthy choices & behaviors.

The Healthy Youth Survey is given to students in grades 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 across Washington State. Participation in the survey is voluntary and the students' answers are completely anonymous. Please read the enclosed Parent and Student Notification flyer for more information about the survey. This flyer is also posted on the school below and available in the office along with the surveys for review. If you have any additional questions or concerns (or prefer that your child not participate in the survey), please contact Justin Laine or Quinn Donlon. Thank you for your support of this activity.
